A medieval lead papal bulla of pope Boniface VIII (1294-1303). The obverse has the usual images of saints Peter and Paul in pelleted aureoles, although the expected abbreviated lettering; SPA SPE is badly damaged and illegible. The reverse bears the inscription BONI [F]AT[I]VS PP VIII.
