Cast copper alloy mortar with flared open mouth, two rectangular handles and lattice-shaped incised decoration centred on the handles. The rim of the mortar has been repaired and at one point bears evidence of having been damaged by heat/fire. Eighteenth or nineteenth century. Dimensions height 111mm, max. diameter (or rim) 111mm.
