A Medieval copper alloy fragment from a vessel (circa 1066-1500 AD). The fragment comprises a rim sherd and part of a decorative projection - possibly part of the fittings from a hanging bowl. The decorative projection changes cross-section from rectangular to circular, it then tapers and flattens. There is a small circular depression on one side. The copper alloy has a pale green patina. Dimensions: length 41.18mm; thickness 10.88mm; width 16.47mm; weight 10.62g
