RING

Unique ID: HAMP-C09CC0

Object type certainty: Certain
Workflow status: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation

A pair of crude cast copper-alloy annular attachment loops of uncertain date. The rings are 20.2mm and 21.3mm in external diameter respectively, and 13.5mm and 14.5mm in internal diameter respectively. Respectively, they weight 2.4g and 1.95g. They are both c. 3mm thick. Such rings are found throughout a range of periods and were used for a variety of functions, therefore attributing a date and function to these examples is difficult. Known functions include belt loops and harness attachment loops.
