Copper alloy medieval horse harness pendant. The pendant is very worn and although the motif of a lion can be seen, the colour does not survive and it is therefore impossible to pin this pendant down to one individual arms. The lion on the pendant is a lion rampant (guardant - possibly) maculate (with spots). At the top of the shield there is a suspension loop with a circular perforation; the loop has some gilding on the front. The pendant weighs 16.27g and measures44.4mm in length, 27.11mm in width and 8.5mm in thickness.
