An angled base sherd from a wheel thrown, probably glazed ceramic vessel, dating to the late Medieval/Post-Medieval period, between AD 1400 - 1900 (dimensions: 53mm x 69mm; thickness: 12mm). The fabric is light grey/orange and it was tempered with very fine quarz and grit particles. There are traces of a yellowish glaze on the outside of the sherd. The make is coarse, and the sherd does not show any other decoration. It probably comes from a coarse ware vessel, possibly a jar.
