A body sherd from a hand made ceramic vessel, dating to the Roman period, between AD 43 - 410 (dimensions: 25mm x 24mm; thickness: 5mm; weight: 5.02g). The fabric is dark grey/orange and it was tempered with quarz and small/medium-sized grit particles. The make is coarse and the sherd does not show any decoration or traces of a burnished surface. The sherd probably comes from a coarse ware vessel, possibly a small or medium-sized bowl or jar.
