A wheel-thrown ceramic vessel body sherd, dating from the Roman period, between AD 43 - 410 (dimensions: 27mm x 22mm; thickness: 5mm; weight: 3.86g). The fabric is dark grey throughout and while the outer surface was coated with a black slip, the inner shows the pattern of a number of brush strokes.
