Fragment of a soda glass vessel decorated with alternating white and black vertical stripes, the white stripes with diagonal lines down their length (latticinio decoration). Probably 'facon de venise', Venetian-style glass of northern European origin, late sixteenth to seventeenth century. The sherd may come from a goblet, drinking glass or vase.
