A rim sherd from a medieval jug. Part way round the flat rim thickens and at this point on the exterior surface of the sherd there is a triangular boss with three stamped decorations below. They consist of annulets with central pellets. The sandy fabric is reduced with oxidised patches on the surfaces and there are traces of a greenish brown glaze on the exterior surface.
