A copper alloy post medieval buckle frame. The frame is a symmetrical trapezoidal double loop, with concave sides and pronounced pointed knops at the corners. The pin rests have moulded notches with smaller grooves either side. The frame is drilled to take a separate spindle which is still present, as is a broken copper alloy pin and broken copper alloy chape (probably originally anchor-shaped but the end is now missing).
