Cast cu-alloy book fitting or strap fitting, bent over at one end and tapering towards the other end. However, the non-hooked terminal, probably with a rivet hole, is broken off. The surface decoration is faint and hardly visibly: It is probably Georgian (scrollwork or letters?).
