A copper-alloy possible socketed axe blade fragment of late Bronze Age date. This fragment measures 28.3mm in width and 17.4mm in length, it is 7.2mm in thickness. Only part of one original face survives and all other edges are now incomplete due to old breaks and wear. The fragment becomes thinner towards the blade end. It has a dark brown patination and no corrosion is visible.
