A very worn or miscast copper alloy leg from a cauldon, skillet or posnet of medieval or post medieval date. The surfaces of the object are very uneven although the front appears to have a moulded vertical central ridge. The leg would have been one of the three required to support the vessel, although if this example was indeed miscast it would never have been used.
