A small rim sherd from a medieval jug. The pale grey reduced fabric has darker grey surfaces and dense coarse quartz sand temper. The rim has an external bead which is decorated with incised parallel vertical lines. The slightly concave interior surface may indicate that the vessel had a lid seat. Dimensions: 26.57mm by 14mm by 8.54mm Weight: 2.98g
