The copper-alloy foot terminal and catch plate of a Roman bow brooch, probably a colchester derivative, 43-80AD. It measures 23.7mm in length and 13.3 in width, across the catch plate. There is a pair of longitudinal grooves down the front face and two transverse grooves across the terminal.
