Late medieval/ early post medieval copper alloy foot from probably a large and substantial cauldron. On the underside it is D-shaped , the long straight side being beneath the toes.
The toes slope upwards and backwards so the foot is triangular in section, being thickest at the (ancient) break. there is a central rib which ends just below the break. The toes downturn very sharply.
Measures 52mm wide, 39.5mm long and 26.5mm thick. Weighs 139.78g.
