A cast copper alloy buckle plate fragment. The fragment is from a rectangular buckle plate. The plate is decorated with a diamond pattern of incised lines. There is a bent attachment spike on the reverse, length 7.7mm. The broken edges of the fragment are worn. The metal surface is dark brownish green in colour.
