Cast copper alloy brooch fragment, probably trumpet type, length 33mm, width 10mm, thickness 7mm, weight 6.95g. The head and the foot is missing so only the middle section remains consisting of a moulded waist with a flat back. The lower section of the leg at the back has the remains of the catch plate. The overall condition is poor, the top and bottom have snapped off, this is an old break, the surface is slightly corroded. This probably dates to the second century.
