An incomplete copper-alloy object which is tentatively identified as a chape of late Bronze Age date (A.Macgregor, 1987, p. 110, no.1178 (similar)). The piece is sub-triangular and has a shallow, transverse recess of oval shape at the top. The object tapers towards the bottom where it is broken off. It measures 39mm long by 23.9mm wide and 8.4mm thick. It weighs 18.16g. The surfaces are heavily corroded.
