A worn Oxford ware flanged bowl rim. The fabric is orange red, well fired and sandy with a grey core. Traces of the orange sip coat were noted in the angle where the flange meets the pot rim. The sherd may be from a mortarium but there was no evidence of the grits of the grinding surface.
