A silver hammered coin dating from the Medieval period: a cut halfpenny of John (1199-1216) or Henry III (1216-1272), struck at London, probably by Abel, 1209-1222. Class 6a – 7a, North 974-978; possibly 7a, North 978. The coin has a diameter of 18.9mm, a thickness of 0.63mm, and weighs 0.61g.
