A complete cast lead token dating to the Post-Medieval period or 17th to 19th centuries AD. The token is 31.8mm in diameter, 3.1mm thick and weighs 26.51g.

The token is decorated on one side by a six-foil star/petal design inside a circular border, the border being 3 - 4mm wide. In between each pointed oval (petal) is a single circular pellet. The pellets are approximately 2.6mm in diameter. The reverse of the object is undecorated.

As an example, Mitchiner, M. and Skinner, A. (1984. `English Tokens c. 1425 to 1672’, in `The British Numismatic Journal, Vol. 54, pp. 86-163), have two tokens which date to between 1650 – 1675 AD (plate 22, no.s 48-49) The tokens have the same petal/star design but lack the border and the pellets. They are also decorated on both sides, where as the recorded object is not.
