A Prehistoric flint flake (8,300-1,500BC). The flake is a secondary flake with approximately 10% cortex remaining on the dorsal surface. There is a short length (18.26mm) of steep retouch worked unifacially from the dorsal surface at the tip and extending around the left side. The retouch may have extended further but there is some damage to that edge. Dark – mid grey flint. Dimensions: length: 57.19mm; width: 35.55mm; thickness: 12.24mm; weight: 20.64g.
