Incomplete Medieval gilt copper alloy buckle, very corroded and distorted oval frame with tiny traces of gilding, broad flat-backed outside edge with constriction for sheet roller decorated with traces of horizontal groove, offset narrowed bar, pin missing, 20 x 29mm. Cf. Dress Accessories (1991), fig.42, no.270. 12th-13th century.
