A silver long cross penny from the light coinage of Edward IV's first reign (reign 1461-70, light coinage 1464/5-70). It is from the archiepiscopal mint at York under the Archbishop George Neville - identifiable as such by the sun initial mark on the the obverse and the quatrefoil at the centre of the reverse long cross. The letter G to the left of the bust on the obverse can just be seen, but the corresponding key to the right is illegible.
