Copper alloy brooch fragment, probably from a Colchester derivative type. Lower bow and catchplate only. Narrow (max surviving 3mm) D-section bow with no decoration. The catchplate has a small triangular hole and is indented both sides for a circular hole behind this which has not been fully pierced. There is also a pin groove, all elements suggest a double pierced lug type of Colchester derivative. Surviving length 18mm.
