Copper alloy sheet binding from an unidentified object. The object is a single rectangular sheet of copper alloy folded over and riveted together with two copper alloy rivets. The loop is expanded as if it held a rod or similar shaped object. In between the copper alloy sheets there is a strip of iron. The object has come from a site that has produced fair amounts of Roman military material.
