Nineteen rim sherds, probably of a variety of jars. The sherds are of the same oxidised fabric. The fabric has a mid grey core and orange coloured surfaces. It is quite soft with powdery surfaces. A few of the sherds have small voids on the surface, as if leeching has occurred. The sherds weigh 359g. The fabric is probably Severn Valley Ware. It probably dates to the 1st to 4th centuries (Webster, P 1976 'Severn Valley Ware: A Preliminary Study' Transactions of the Bristol and Gloucestershire Archaeological Society Vol. 94).
