COIN

Unique ID: NARC-FC2804

Object type certainty: Certain
Workflow status: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation

A nummus which has been very poorly preserved. The coin probably dates to the late fourth century A.D, as this is when the quality of the copper alloy used is very poor (particularly in the 360s and 370s) and this can result in the coin surviving in poor condition (Marsden, 2001; 81).
