An retouched blade which probably dates from the Neolithic period. At the proximal end is the striking platform, below which on the ventral side is the bulb of percussion and pronouced ripples which radiate for the whole length of the blade. There is some retouch on both lateral edges of the blade. On one side this is only towards the distal end, but on the other it extends along most of its length. There is also some edge damage, for example the two notches towards the distal end. The mottled cream and light brown flint has a mid gloss patina. Dimensions: 53.11mm by 19.86mm by 7.65mm Weight: 8.03g

Class: Retouched Blade
