A collection of 40 lead musket balls. The lead bullets such as these were used from 1400 – 1850, most of them are likely to date from the 16th - 19th century. This collection form part of a much larger collection from the same farm. Unfortunately the finder has died so the grid reference we have for the collection covers the centre of the parish only. Most of the musket balls are almost spherical.
