Fragment (5 x >40mm) of Roamno-British Crossbow brooch, part of triangular-sectioned bow with elaborately notched rectangular sectioned lower part and foot with projecting 'toe', enclosed tubular catch-plate with vertical slot, joined at base and containing corroded remains of copper alloy pin. 3rd-4th century AD.
