Cast copper alloy ring. Circular in section. It is difficult to date and to assume the function of these copper alloy rings except for saying that they were Medieval to Modern in date and used as either waist belt loops for hanging items like purses from or as harness rings. This example is largely worn and rounded although one side of the hoop still demonstrates a sharp angled edge.
