An incomplete cast copper alloy umbonate brooch dating to the second century AD. The brooch is circular in shape. A ring shaped cell which contains degraded enamel surrounds the central conical boss with spherical end knop. The underside of the brooch is hollow. There are two semi-circular perforated lugs to hold the pin in place. The catchplate is missing as the brooch is damaged in this area. The brooch has a diameter of 21mm and a thickness of 13mm.
