Copper alloy enamelled disc brooch, dating to the roman period. The flat brooch has a green and red emameled background, with a central 6-pointed star. sunburst pattern variant, with a centre dot. The internal star of six points has red enamel. At the star points which are squared there are six lugs on the perimeter. The outer field has a bright green enamel. An integral hinge, some of the pin and catchplate survive on the back of the brooch.
