An incomplete copper-alloy folded sheet scabbard chape of medieval circa 13th-14th century date, the terminal of this chape is now missing due to an old break. It measures 29.3mm in surviving length and 19.9mm in maximum width. The two longitudinal edges of the chape are still held together with solder. The open end is decorated with three transverse grooves.
