TOKEN

Unique ID: SUSS-5087F3

Object type certainty: Possibly
Workflow status: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation

A cast lead token. The token is flat and almost circular. The obverse of the token is illegible, apart from the letters VIC[----] which have been stamped backwards around the edge of the token. The reverse is blank, but there is a depression on the surface of the token. The lead has gone a dark brownish-grey colour. Judging by the lettering style this token probably dates from between circa 1700 – 1900 AD.
