A copper alloy trapezoidal buckle with extravagantly moulded concave sides. There are transverse grooves across the convex ends of the buckle frame and double protrusions either side of the bar. The anchor-shaped chape is present but the pin is missing. A similar buckle has been dated by Whitehead (1996, p98) to the late 17th - early 18th centuries.
