Pottery sherd, probably from a vessel of Anglo-Saxon date, circa 900-1100AD. The sherd has a grey surface and a dark grey body with inclusions of white crushed shell and a small amount of mica. It is undecorated and there are worn breaks on all edges. Measures 25mm long and is 25mm wide at the widest point.
