Medieval fragment of mirror case, slightly convex cast disk (dia.29mm), remains of single lug on one side, containing copper alloy rivet for hinge. Traces of decoration with double lines of opposed, punched triangles forming outline of crude rounded open cross. 24 x 19 mm. Cf. Dress Accessories (1991) 361-5, fig.241, nos.1714-5. Late 14th century.
