A copper alloy dolphin brooch with a hinged pin. The wings [38.93 across] have traces of transverse moulding but the bow is very pitted and so any decoration there may have been has gone. The catchplate is present but incomplete. A similarly hinged brooch was found at Richborough (Bayley & Butcher 2004 p89-90 no 206) and is dated to the late 1st century.
