A copper alloy brooch, possibly part of a Colchester two-piece type but the diagnostic fittings for the spring are not present. The bow of the brooch has a raised central rib decorated, at the top with transverse notches. The surviving wing also has transverse moulding. The stub of the catchplate is present too.
