Medieval fragment of key for mounted lock, part of lozengiform bow with corner bosses and part of hollow stem. Width 33mm. Bows of this form were current in Winchester from the 11th to 14th century. (Goodall in Biddle 1990, 1007). This piece is of the 13th or 14th century.
