A millstone grit upper stone from a quern or hand-mill in the form of a truncated cone shape. The degree of wear is such that only half of the handle-hole is left the rest having been ground away. Handle slot is 40 x 70 & 20mm deep. Hole at bottom of feed hole is 40 dia.
