A cast lead token. The token is flat and circular. The obverse of the token depicts a basic cross-hatched pattern, comprising four vertical and three horizontal lines. The reverse is blank. The lead has gone a light brownish-grey colour. Due to a lack of excavated examples these tokens can only be loosely dated from between circa 1400 – 1850 AD.
