Copper alloy horse brooch. The brooch is in the form of a horse galloping right. The horse has a moulded mane although it is very worn and no detail can be seen. The head features are also very worn and all that can be seen is a slight moulded oval representing the eyes. At the shoulders there is a moulded bevelled ridge. The body is slender and decorated with a horizontal row of eight circular holes, two of which are filled with blue enamel. The front and rear leg is broken around the knee. The tail is half complete. There is a catchplate and lug for a hinged pin on the reverse. The pin is missing.
