Copper alloy Roman brooch, possibly a T-Shape brooch. The wings are tubular and badly corroded so that much of the spring can be seen. The slot between the wings to accommodate the pin is also expanded due to corrosion. Beneath the wings the upper portion of the bow survives. There is a raised longitudinal ridge down the centre of the bow. Patchy reddish brown and dark patina.
