Anglo-Saxon copper alloy dress hook, 25mm long and 17mm wide. The object is in good condition with a green patina and weighs 1.56 grams. The object is triangular in form and its point is turned to form a small hook. The upper edge is shaped, with three small rounded protrusions joined together by two very shallow arcs. Below this edge are two circular fixing holes, C.3mm in diameter. The surface of the object is decorated with a border of incised chevrons running down each side. The centre has 7 cup and ring marks, 5 arranged in a circle around a sixth and the seventh below this. The reverse is plain, but the cup and rings are so deeply set that at least five circular bulges can be seen on this side. Similar to B Read, 2008, Pg. 9, no. 24.
