An incomplete copper-alloy annular brooch of quoit type and early Anglo-Saxon date. The frame measures 32mm in diameter and is formed of a flat plate which is 8.8mm wide and 0.8mm thick. The upper surface of the brooch is decorated with two concentric circles of punched dots. The pin is missing and the object is bent and slightly corroded. The pin attachment consists of a small circular hole located close to the inside of the frame. The pin rest is opposite and comprises a wedge-shaped cut out with an indented line either side. The object weighs 4.58g.

The wedge-shaped notch in the inner edge of the frame defines this brooch as a quoit brooch, a variant of the annular brooch. Compare NARC-63FA58 and NARC-63CBFD.
